As you walk up the steps towards the entrance of Durley House, you could actually believe that you were walking into the hallway of a private country residence. The wood panel effect entrance invites you through to the homely reception area, where you are met by the warmth of the glowing fireplace, surrounded by cushioned fenders, wishing you to sit and rest those weary feet. A portrait of Lord Durley looks on - with holding many secrets surrounding the history of Durley House. There are two 'one bedroom suites', both of which are situated on the ground floor towards the rear of the hotel. These suites overlook two small courtyard gardens and are beautifully highlighted by the afternoon sun. One of these suites offers a king bedroom, a cosy sitting room, hallway and bathroom. The adjacent one bedroom suite, offers a queen bedroom, bathroom, sitting room and kitchen. Each of the sitting rooms offer a pull out sprung sofa bed, ideal for a third person sharing. The beauty of these two suites is that by reserving them together, suddenly you create an enormous two bedroom suite - with plenty of accommodation that enables you to sleep up to to six persons with the use of the two sofa beds.
